#0: About

This blog began with the following

- the misplaced self-importance behind every travel blog
- a water colour set given by my grandma “to capture the colours of Oklahoma”

- a life-long love for top trumps

I will be documenting the creation of (the first?) set of Tulsa Top Trumps. Each tourist site will become a card in the TTT, complete with its own water colour. As all top trumps enthusiasts know, this involves scoring each destination along a fixed set of categories:

1. Date of creation
2. Historical Significance
3. European-ness
4. Cowboy hats
5. Collective consciousness
6. Wokeness
7. Authentic Tulsan experience*
